The Hair Loft began with a clear mission: To provide exceptional hair services in a warm, inviting atmosphere where beauty, confidence, and genuine connection come together. Changing your hair is personal, and trust is essential. We build that trust from your first conversation with us.
Many salons rush clients through appointments. We take a different approach: we schedule enough time for every appointment, so there’s no need to hurry. This lets us discuss your routine, styling time, and long-term goals.

Ty
Founder & Stylist
Blowouts & Event Styling, Hair Extensions, Blonding/Color, Men & Women’s Cuts
Ty started her career in the Seattle beauty industry back in 2007 when she received her Esthetics License for skincare which led her in the direction of doing makeup for events and weddings. After working with makeup clients for weddings, runway shows, print and tv, Ty's spark for hair styling grew and inspired her to go back to school in 2016 to receive her Cosmetology license.
From there, Ty continued to independently book hundreds of weddings doing both hair and makeup, and getting involved in the Board of her local wedding expo association and leading the fashion shows. immersing herself in the wedding world.
In 2024, Ty switched directions to also include working behind the chair with clients, doing most salon services, still specializing in styling hair, Invisible Bead Extensions, as well as men and woman's cuts, root touch ups and blowout styles.
Ty's favorite part about working behind the chair is the small town vibe the salon embraces and camaraderie between other professionals and clients.

Sherry has been working and educating her loyal clients behind the chair, in Whitefish, for the last 27 years, by combining technical expertise with a warm, personalized approach. She specializes in fine hair, as well as custom highlights, root retouches, and precision cutting. Sherry is passionate about creating natural, wearable styles that enhance her guests’ features and fit their lifestyle. Whether you’re looking for seamless color maintenance, fresh highlights or a tailored haircut, Sherry’s years of experience and attention to detail ensure you’ll leave her chair looking and feeling your best.

Originally from Maine, I’ve always had a bit of a gypsy soul. My passion for hair, adventure, and exploring new places has taken me across the country, eventually leading me to beautiful Whitefish, Montana. Drawn by the mountains, outdoor lifestyle, and strong sense of community, I found the perfect place to blend creativity with the life I love.
As a stylist, I specialize in blonding, dimensional color, gray blending, and extensions, creating customized, natural-looking results that help each guest feel confident and empowered. When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll find me hiking, paddleboarding, exploring Glacier National Park, or soaking in a Montana sunset. My goal is to create a welcoming, relaxed experience where every guest feels comfortable, cared for, and leaves feeling like the best version of themselves.
